“My name is Diane; I am a single mom of two boys with Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy. This is a muscle wasting disease, which will put them in wheelchairs sometime around 12 and take their lives by the age of 30 or so. I am hopeful that maybe medical research will come up with something to at least slow this disease down. In order to better assist my sons I am currently looking to purchase a wheelchair accessible van, but the price is over $30,000.
